Welcome, and thank you for being part of the Red Deer Taboo Show!

We’re excited to have you join us for our last show of the season, an unforgettable weekend and truly appreciate your participation. This Exhibitor Kit is designed to guide you through all essential details for preparing and installing your booth, including move-in procedures, venue services, and important on-site information.

We strongly encourage exhibitors to review the kit in full and complete any required forms or service orders as early as possible. Early submission helps ensure a smooth setup and allows our venue partners and service contractors to provide the best possible service.

Show Management will be on-site and available to assist exhibitors starting Friday at 8:00 AM. The Show Office will be located within Westerner Park and will remain open throughout move-in and the duration of the show to support you as needed.

  2. Register your company if you have not done so at the Goodkey site before. *Please note: Your Default User name

    will be your e-mail address, and the preselected password is blue. You can then go into your account and change your

    password.

  3. Put in your SHOW CODE (see above).

  4. You are now at the show info page. That will tell you the move-in and move-out information along with the

    furnishings and colours that are supplied by your show organizer.

  5. If you would like to order extra furnishings, material handling, labour, etc please click on MAIN on top of the page.

  6. Click on the sub category PRODUCTS or SERVICES of your choice.

  7. To add to your order, select the options beside the photo then ADD ITEM TO CART. Click BACK TO ORDER ONLINE

    by the VIEW MY CART to return to the main order directory.

  8. Once you are completely satisfied with your order(s) click on CONFIRM MY CART at the bottom of the page.

  9. Click the terms and conditions box - please note instructional pop up and click OK.

  10. Click PAY ONLINE and complete the required fields.

PERSONAL SERVICE FORM
DEADLINE: MARCH 17, 2026

Vendors providing personal services at the Red Deer Taboo Show (including, but not limited to tattooing, piercing, microblading, and spa or aesthetic treatments) are subject to approval by the Alberta Health Services and must comply with all applicable regulations. If you are planning on providing personal services in your booth at the show, you must complete the form below no later than 14 days prior to the show.

All required applications must be submitted by March 17, 2026.
Late submissions may not be accepted and could result in denial of permission to provide services at the show.

Invasive Personal Services

Vendors offering invasive personal services (such as tattooing, piercing, or microblading) are required to submit a Personal Services Vendor Application.

Personal Services Vendor Application

Personal services vendors may be required to have approved handwashing sinks. If you are required to have a handwashing station in your booth, your handwashing stations must be supplied with liquid soap and single-use towels in suitable dispensers and be readily accessible to all personal service workers. Please note: Show management does not provide you with handwashing sinks. You are responsible on bringing or renting your own.

If you are SAMPLING and SELLING FOR TAKE HOME CONSUMPTION

Special Event Vendor Notification

If you are any of the following, you do not need to complete the above Alberta Health Form but you must provide Show Management and Alberta Health Services required information. Please send required information to kaye@tabooshows.com

1. You are selling low-risk home prepared foods ONLY, as per the factsheet below. Please submit your home address, business name, contact information and foods being sold.

Note: Products must be prepackaged and labeled per below guidelines.

LOW RISK HOME-PREPARED FOOD FACT SHEET

2. You are a Type A mobile unit permitted in Alberta (i.e. a food truck, cart, or trailer) with an AHS decal (e.g. EDM-###; CGY-###…). Please supply your name, decal identification #, and a phone number/email address.

A public health inspector may contact you to further discuss food handling at the event.

HANDWASHING STATIONS
Exhibitors may be required by Alberta Health Services to have handwashing stations at your booth based on the type of food served and the level of processing/preparation at the special event.

SINK REQUIREMENTS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS
HANDWASHING SINK SAMPLE SET-UP

If you are required to have a handwashing station in your booth, your handwashing stations must be supplied with liquid soap and single-use towels in suitable dispensers and be readily accessible to all food handlers. Washroom sinks cannot be used for food handling handwashing purposes

Please ensure you are complying with the guidelines listed within the application. If you do not complete the required forms and do not comply with the guidelines, your booth could be closed down if an inspector comes to the show.

All required applications must be submitted by March 17, 2026.
Late submissions may not be accepted and could result in denial of permission to provide services at the show.

MOVE-IN INFORMATION

Move-in is on Friday, March 20, 2026. You may move-in on Thursday from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm

For safety and compliance reasons, no individuals under the age of 18 are permitted to assist with move-in, booth setup, or take-down.

EXHIBITOR CHECK-IN INFORMATION

Exhibitor check-in will begin on Friday at 11:00 AM. Upon check-in, each exhibitor will be issued up to six (6) exhibitor badges. Badge quantities are limited, so exhibitors must notify Kaye at kaye@tabooshows.com in advance with the exact number of badges required. Additional badges may not be available on-site.

PARKING

Parking at the venue is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no prearranged vendor parking spots for this year.

MOVE-OUT INFORMATION
MOVE-OUT TIMES | SUNDAY, MARCH 22, 2026 | 5:00PM - 10:00PM

Items left on the show floor after move-out time will be forced off the floor.

Please note that move-out will begin once the show has closed, the aisles are cleared, and the aisle carpets removed. Dismantling or removing your exhibit/exhibit materials before the end of the show is strictly prohibited, as there are attendees still in the hall who have paid to attend the show.

HOTEL RED DEER RESORT & CASINO
BOOKING DEADLINE: MARCH 6, 2026

Rooms and discounted rate will only be held until the specified date. Rooms will then be subject to availability at prevailing rates.

We have secured a preferred exhibitor rate starting at $129 per night (plus applicable taxes) at the Red Deer Resort & Casino, located at 3310 50 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 3X9, approximately 8 minutes from the venue.

PROMOTIONAL TICKETS

Promotional tickets will be sent to exhibitors one week prior to the show. These tickets may be used to invite friends, family, and customers to attend the event.

Please note that promotional tickets will not be issued if a deposit has not been made. Exhibitors must be fully deposit-compliant in order to receive promotional tickets.

Where can I park?

Yes. The show floor is dimly lit, and proper booth lighting is strongly encouraged. Power may be ordered through Showtech ? , or exhibitors may use their own power banks or battery-operated lighting.

BEWARE OF SCAMS

We have encountered various scams over the years at the show. Most recently we had individuals trying to alter the price of a transaction. They will take the machine and change the price when you aren't paying attention. To combat this, please take caution and act on the following:

* Watch for sales of high ticket items, or a basket of items over the "tap" limit.

* Be wary of people who are buying high ticket items, or multiple items, and don't care to haggle, or care about the cost.

* Keep your cashbox or till in a secure place.

* Observe the transaction until completed.

* Provide a PIN/Passcodes to machine actions or alterations.

* Be observant! Watch the people in your booth and what they are doing
